Medline Holds Skin Health Education Event for Hospice Professionals

Gentiva, a national hospice provider serving patients in 36 states, recently attended a skin health boot camp hosted by Medline. The two-day training, held at Medline’s headquarters in Northfield, Ill., focused on teaching hospice clinical teams to better care for patients’ skin.

Marie Foster, RN, Gentiva’s Utilization Manager of Medical Supplies, said, “We are committed to making care a more personal experience for our patients. With hundreds of clinicians across the country, we recognize that the different levels of knowledge and approaches to wound care can impact both utilization of products and clinical best practices. Our goal is to leverage tactics to ensure every clinician is equipped with the latest knowledge and tools to provide the very best care.”
