AAHomecare HME Market Survey Closes Today

Reminder: The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) Market Impact Survey — for suppliers who provide home oxygen, CPAP, and/or hospital beds — closes Fri., Sept. 8.

Tom Ryan, AAHomecare’s President/CEO, said, “In a recent Industry survey, nearly 250 HME professionals nationwide shared business pain points revealing critical challenges impacting business operations, personnel, payer dynamics, and claims-related issues. The Association hears you and is responding with a more robust educational platform to tackle these issues. We welcome the HME community’s input.”

AARC Is Seeking Interns for Journal

If you’re a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) looking to better understand the process of peer review and journal production, check out the remote internship opportunity at Respiratory Care, produced by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

Interns will shadow the editor-in-chief and managing editor during the manuscript decision process and assist them with editorial decisions; shadow Journal staffers during the production process; participate virtually in weekly staff meetings; and prepare papers for publication in Respiratory Care.

Applicants must be employed as Respiratory Therapists (RT), must have at least five years of RT experience, and must have Bachelor Degrees, with graduate degrees preferred. For more information, visit the internship page on the AARC Web site.
