Quipt Makes Multi-State Acquisition

Quipt Home Medical Corp., a home medical equipment provider that focuses on respiratory care, has made a multi-state acquisition that will expand Quipt’s operations in Mississippi, Texas, and Louisiana.

In a Sept. 11 announcement, Quipt said the company being acquired was “reporting unaudited annual revenues of approximately $9 million with anticipated Adjusted EBITDA of $2 million post integration.”

The announcement did not name the company that was acquired. But Quipt said the deal would add 10 locations currently serving 17,500 active patients, with 1,900 unique referring physicians and “decades of operating experience in the markets served.

“This acquisition allows [Quipt] to further penetrate key sales touch points in major target markets across Mississippi, Texas, and Louisiana, and is expected to assist with organic growth initiatives in those markets post-integration,” the announcement added. “Moreover, the business has a diverse payor mix and a heavily weighted respiratory product mix.”
