AARC Is Headed to Nashville

A reminder that the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Congress takes place Nov. 5-8 in Nashville, Tenn., at the Gaylord Opryland. Early-bird pricing is in effect through Sept. 21. Educational content, AARC said, is “designed for respiratory therapists of all skills and specialties.”


The Abilities Expo Visits Arizona

The Abilities Expo tour stops in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area this weekend. From Sept. 8 through Sept. 10, consumers, healthcare professionals, caregivers and families can visit WestWorld of Scottsdale to check out assistive technology exhibits and booths; watch sports demos, including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair table tennis, and adaptive rowing; try out the adaptive climbing wall; and take classes on subjects ranging from service animals to adaptive fitness.
