Mediware Unveils Specialty Pharmacy Release of Caretend

The next release of Mediware Information Systems Inc.’s CareTend is now available for the specialty pharmacy market. The new platform simplifies prescription processing, workflow, reimbursement, and reporting, all in one system. Providers can now manage their entire workflow operations in a single dashboard that tracks output, spots delays, and tracks employee productivity in real time. VGM Releases its 2016 HME Playbook

VGM has released Analyzing Business Operations Playbook, the second edition of its HME Business Playbook, which aims to help HME business owners and management better manage people, processes and technology to drive increased operational efficiency. Both in-house and external subject matter experts were called on to contribute to the content of the playbook. External contributors included Andrea Ewert of Home Oxygen Co.; Chris Calderone of Lean Homecare Consulting Group; and Miriam Lieber of Lieber Consulting.
