AARC Summer Forum Sets Attendance Record

The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Summer Forum attracted a record number of respiratory care managers, educators, and clinicians, according to a July AARC news announcement. The Summer Forum took place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and featured its first-ever Sam Giordano Leadership Lecture Series, named after the former AARC President and long-time Executive Director. The lecture series was themed “Mentoring & Sponsorship — Guiding the Next Generation of Leaders.”

AAHomecare Welcomes One Source Medical Group

One Source Medical Group, a DME supplier with 19 years of specialized experience, has joined the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare). In a July 26 bulletin, AAHomecare welcomed its new member, who provides diabetes supplies, enteral nutrition, urological supplies, and additional DME. One Source has offices in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas.

Dynarex Supports Guatemala Medical Mission

Dynarex is partnering with ASAP Pharmacy and HELPS International to provide people in Guatemala with essential medical supplies. In a July news announcement, Dynarex said it’s providing personal protective equipment, such as N95 masks and sterile surgical gloves; respiratory products, such as oral airways and laryngeal mask airways; and infection control supplies, including alcohol prep pads and sharps containers.

The mission, Dynarex added, is aiming to provide free health services to residents in remote parts of the highlands of Guatemala.
