Drive DeVilbiss Unveils Delta Pro Homecare Bed
The Delta Pro Homecare Bed features a universal bed frame that works with interchangeable components and motor options to create six unique bed configurations.
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has unveiled the Delta Pro Homecare Bed System, a patent-pending offering to help providers maintain inventory efficiency and address diverse patient needs.
The Delta Pro Homecare Bed System features a universal bed frame that is compatible with interchangeable, color-coded components and motor options to create six unique bed configurations. The components easily assemble and disassemble to create a manual, semi-electric, full-electric or low bed depending on user needs.
The split slat-deck frame is durable, easy to clean, and provides no-sag mattress support. The ultra-lightweight standard or low bed end options attach to the bed frame without tooling and come in the same modern brown finish as the frame.
“The Delta Pro embodies our updated mission to provide innovative product solutions that improve the quality of life of patients,” said Reina Brown, director of product management for Drive DeVilbiss. “Covid pushed us into a global environment where diverse patient demand is increasing, and inventory and space are limited. The Delta Pro Bed system addresses both challenges: offering product versatility and inventory efficiencies, respectively. We are proud to be a part of the solution.”
Bed adjustment components include motors and hand cranks depending on user requirements. Options include a dual motor, dual motor with hi-lo, linear motor, linear hi-lo motor, or manual cranks. Each motor configuration comes with a large, glow-in-the-dark hand pendant with easy-to-use controls. The hand pendant includes a power indicator light and built-in battery backup to adjust the head and foot sections in the event of a power failure.
Accessories include half and full rails that provide extra safety for users more prone to falling out of bed.
