Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare Announces New CEO

Dental equipment manufacturing executive Robert Size will take helm of multi-line HME maker as Bob Gilligan steps down from his CEO role.

Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has a new CEO in the driver’s seat, the company announced on Tuesday.

Robert Size has been named chief executive officer following the departure of Bob Gilligan, who served as the medical equipment manufacturer’s CEO for nearly two years. Size has previously held various executive roles at Dentsply Sirona Inc., a major supplier of dental materials and equipment, for 15 years.

“I am incredibly excited to assume this role and for the future of the company,” Size said in a public statement. “I look forward to working with the team at Drive, building upon the company’s almost 20-year history of delivering great products and experiences for customers.”

Prior to joining Dentsply, Size was the chief executive of manufacturing company Superior MicroPowders. He also worked in leadership roles for 16 years at the Cookson Group PLC.

In announcing Size’s hire, Drive highlighted Size’s experience in managing manufacturing operations and sales teams in the United States and Europe.

“We thank Bob Gilligan for his leadership and valuable contributions to Drive,” said John Compton, the chairman of Drive’s board of directors. “We are confident that Bob Size will lead Drive into a phase of further growth and customer satisfaction.”
