An organization that helps small businesses in the Wolverine State grow will honor the company for its ability to adapt to a changing environment while continuing to innovate.
Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has named power mobility device maker Amigo Mobility International Inc. as one of the 2021 awardees for the Michigan SBDC Best Small Business award.
Michigan SBDC is a non-profit organization of various groups that provide small businesses with resources to help their companies grow. It will honor Amigo Mobility at its 17th annual Michigan Celebrates Small Businesses gala event on July 20.
To be recognized as a Best Small Business, awardees must be a Michigan SBDC client. Each of the Michigan SBDC Regional Centers submit one company to be recognized.
“In this past year, Michigan small businesses have been tested like never before,” said J.D. Collins, state director of the Michigan SBDC. “They’ve shown remarkable resilience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing climate. From the 140 business consultants at the Michigan SBDC, cheers to your entrepreneurial spirit, cheers to your grit and determination, congratulations to this year’s awardees. It’s an honor serving you.”
