Reminder: AAHomecare Seeks Survey Participants

The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) is seeking input on two surveys that are gathering market impact data. The first survey is for HME suppliers of enteral nutrition, pumps, kits, and/or supplies. The second survey is for HME suppliers of wound care, ostomy, and/or urological supplies. Information provided will be kept confidential and will only be used for advocacy efforts. Participate by April 14.

ATHOMES Spring Conference Set for Nashville

Trelleborg Receives Patent for Zoned Coatings

Trelleborg has received a patent number for its Dartex Zoned Coatings, with “its unique ability to ‘zone’ different polyurethane coatings on support surface covers used in healthcare and medical applications, allowing a single fabric to perform multiple functions,” according to a March 27 news announcement.

The announcement added that the “revolutionary” material, developed by Technical Director Richard Haxby and Senior Development Project Manager Ilias Alexandrakis, “will enable medical device manufacturers to develop the ultimate support surface, and we are excited to see the impact this will have on patient care.”
