VGM Reschedules Heartland Conference

Wanting to ensure attendee safety, VGM has moved this year’s edition of the annual Heartland Conference from June 14–16 to Sept. 13–15.

To ensure participants’ safety during COVID-19, VGM has moved the dates for its 20th annual Heartland Conference from June 14–16 to Sept. 13–15.

The move is only intended for this year and should not expect the 2022 edition of the event, according to VGM.

“Our members and vendors are vital to the strength and success of our healthcare system, as the pandemic has proven,” said Clint Geffert, president of VGM & Associates. “We have a responsibility to keep everyone safe while they learn and network with their peers from around the country.”

Heartland’s networking and educational events will remain the same, including tracks in respiratory, accessibility, rehab, leadership, operations, billing and reimbursement, retail, and sales and marketing.

However, VGM will also add a virtual component to the show that lets VGM members also sign up exclusively for the online courses. The event’s sessions will be free to in-person attendees. Virtual attendees can still earn CEUs, connect with conference presenters, vendors and peers.

Registration for the 20th anniversary Heartland Conference opens on May 1. To learn more, visit www.vgmheartland.com.
