In an effort to expand its offerings in the United States, medical equipment manufacturer Invacare is introducing home medical products originally from Europe that feature stylish designs for bed and bath.
Products in the collection include the Invacare Etude HC Bed, Aquatec Ocean Ergo Shower and Commode Chairs. In addition, Invacare will offer its Aquatec Bath Lift to help patients easily transfer in and out of the tub.
The HC Bed, which offers clinical benefits like shear management technology and “Comfort Chair” positioning for users to sit up in a natural position, will feature an “elegant Scandinavian style,” according to the company.
“These new products take staples of home medical equipment — bed and bath safety — and transform them into an experience when using them,” Courtney Sankovich, the director of post-acute care marketing, said in a statement. “These products are not just aids for daily living, they help users excel at daily living.”
