Parachute Health Becomes Top-level AAHomecare Sponsor
HME eprescription company joins the association’s Diamond tier of corporate partners to help advance the industry’s public policy efforts.
DME eprescription company Parachute Health has become the American Association for Homecare’s latest Diamond-level corporate partner.
Launched in November, the diamond level is the highest tier for the HME industry association’s corporate partners to support the organization and its advocacy efforts.
“We’re gratified to see another highly regarded company step up their support for high-impact DME public policy efforts at a critical time for this industry,” AAHomecare President and CEO Tom Ryan said. “Forward-thinking DME stakeholders like Parachute Health see the opportunity to improve the reimbursement and regulatory environment for our industry and are demonstrating their commitment to making that a reality.”
The Parachute Platform lets HME providers digitally receive orders on a centralized intake system, communicate with referrals, flag orders with incomplete info, and send qualified orders to billing systems. More than 110,000 MDs are signing digital orders on the Parachute Health platform, which can build both the digital prescription and the face-to-face notes at the point of ordering.
“Increased adoption of DME ePrescribing benefits providers and patients alike,” Ryan added. “Having multiple strong platforms operating in this space will lead to further innovation and better solutions serving an increasingly important component of the healthcare continuum.”
In addition to increasing their financial support of the Association, Parachute Health plans to work closely with AAHomecare’s Payer Relations Council to further demonstrate the value of DME to payers.
