Essentially Women Moves Focus Conference to May
The women’s HME-focused event will move from Feb. 5-7 to May 1-3 due to caution over the recent surge in Covid-19 cases.
Essentially Women, the division of VGM & Associates that helps providers serving women’s healthcare needs, is moving the dates of its Focus Conference 2022 from Feb. 5-7 to May 1-3.
The annual conference is an in-person event that will be held at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
Citing caution over the ongoing Covid-19, which has seen recent diagnosis spikes, Essentially Women said in a public statement that it made the change to ensure the safety of all those involved and is expected to only occur this year.
“The safety and health of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff is our key priority,” said Nikki Jensen, vice president of Essentially Women. “We have a responsibility to keep everyone safe as they learn and network with their peers. By shifting later to Spring 2022, we hope that the current surge in COVID cases will have decreased. We are looking forward to seeing each other in person in May.”
