Rehab Medical Supply Acquires Great Plains Medical
Buy will help national medical supplier expand its footprint and ensure Great Plains Medical’s clients continue having access to medical supplies.
National medical supplier Rehab Medical Supply has acquired Bixby, Okla.-based Great Plains Medical, which has provided incontinence supplies via the ADvantage Program for longer than a decade.
After Great Plains Medical CEO Diane Sheets retired, the company approached Rehab Medical Supply.
“We are excited as a company to continue to provide the best in class service and medical products to the patients of Great Plains Medical,” said Business Unit Director Tri Van Le. “Diane's retirement is well deserved, and we are grateful and honored that Diane chose and trusted our organization to take care of her patients.”
The purchase is aligned with Rehab Medical Supply’s immediate and long-term growth strategy to expand nationally, according to Le.
“We look forward to continuing utilizing our industry exclusive software technology and internal order processes to expedite orders and shipments to all our patients to improve their quality of life,” Le added”
Great Plains Medical initiated the transition earlier this month and all existing members have been notified of the transition.
