AAHomecare Votes in New Board Members

Association elects Apria’s Guidetti as chairman, Spiro Health’s Gary Sheehan as new vice chairman and Pride’s Seth Johnson as new secretary, as well six new at-large board members.

The members of the American Association for Homecare elected new members to its board last week, including two new members to its executive committee.

New executives are:

  • Chairman — Bill Guidetti, executive vice president, East Zone, Apria Healthcare
  • Vice Chairman — Gary Sheehan, CEO of Spiro Health
  • Secretary — Seth Johnson, senior vice president of Government Affairs, Pride Mobility Products Corp.

Additionally, AAHomecare also elected six people to at-large executive committee:

  • Ryan Bullock (COO, Aeroflow Inc. – Asheville, NC)
  • Robert Fary, vice president of Strategic Alliances, Inogen Corp.
  • Gordy Fox, CEO of Home Care Delivered
  • Casey Hoyt, CEO of Viemed
  • Josh Marx managing director  and vice president of Medical Service Company
  • Eric Pauls, sales leader for North America, Philips Respironics

Bullock, Fox, Hoyt are new additions to the board, while the members re-elected Fary, Marx and Pauls to their posts.
 
Additionally, AAHomecare’s Board of Directors has also appointed Josh Britten, CEO of BritKare Home Medical to serve the remainder of an unexpired board seat which had become vacant. The Nominating Committee recommended that Josh Marx, vice president of Business Development for Medical Service Company, continue his on the Executive Committee.

The Nominating Committee also tapped Jeremy Stone, vice president of Payer Relations and Government Relations for National Seating & Mobility)  to join the Executive Committee.

Also, Rose Schafhauser, president of the Midwest Association of Medical Equipment Services and executive director of the Southwest Medical Equipment Suppliers Association, joins the at large executive committee through her work as chair of AAHomecare’s State Leaders Council.  And, Barb Stockert, executive director of the Pacific Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers and the Big Sky Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, has become part of the board as chair of the HME/RT Council.

All these new board seats will run from 2020 to 2023.
