Ahead of reimbursement changes, ACHC launches home infusion therapy program
As home infusion therapy
providers must be accredited
by a CMS-approved
organization by Jan. 1, 2021
in order to receive Medicare
reimbursement, the
Accreditation Commission
for Health Care has launched a new accreditation
program for suppliers. The commission will assist
providers with education, assessment, medication
review and development of the plan of care provided
by healthcare professionals during a home visit.
