Accessibility product company adds manufacturing and distribution center in Hopkinsville, Ky.; moves headquarters to Auburn, Wash.

Accessibility product maker EZ-ACCESS, a division of Homecare Products Inc., has expanded into Kentucky, relocated its corporate headquarters, and opened a new Tennessee sales office.

New Kentucky Facility

EZ-ACCESS has added a new centrally located manufacturing and distribution facility in Hopkinsville, Ky. that offers 200,000 square feet of space. Over the last nine months, the new plant has become a fully functional operation that has brought more than 100 jobs to the area. The facility helps the company consolidate resources, increase coordination, and serves as a central hub to receive raw materials and deploy finished goods across the United States.

“The partnership our new facilities in Hopkinsville will have with both our existing Morganfield, KY and Henderson, KY plants will be priceless,” said Jim Kruse, COO of EZ-ACCESS. “We will be able to implement strategies such as dedicating entire factories to specific product lines to improve efficiencies and ultimately increase our production volume.”

“Many thanks to our internal teams for their impressive collaboration and the execution of an opening and relocation of this caliber,” said Don Everard, CEO and part-owner of EZ-ACCESS. “After 38 years in business, it’s thrilling to keep moving forward, breaking through barriers, and enriching lives by providing access solutions to those who need it most.”

New Headquarters & Sales Office

The company also relocated its corporate headquarters in Auburn, Wash. and opened an East Coast office in Madison, Tenn. Like its previous location, the new EZ-ACCESS headquarters will continue to support departments such as finance, HR and customer service. The Madison office will primarily offer Operations and Sales personnel a dedicated location for everyday offices, strategic meetings and training during the year.

“I am proud to be a part of an organization that has a growth mindset and responds to the evolving changes of our economy, invests in the evolution of the company, and supports the exponential increase in opportunity that we are encountering,” said David Heinz, executive VP of Sales for the company.
