Medtrade Adds Business Development Representative

Griffin Randall joins the Medtrade sales team as a business development representative.

Emerald, the company that produces Medtrade East and West, has added Griffin Randall to the events’ sales team.

As a business development representative, Randall will explore new business opportunities for Medtrade (booths and sponsorships) and service existing customers.

Randall comes from the fast and furious world of retail, where he worked at Best Buy, starting in the home theater section and eventually extending his responsibilities to nearly everything under the Best Buy roof.

Interacting with customers has been a key element of why he enjoys sales, Randall explained.

“I’ve also had family in the trade show industry, and growing up, I’ve been involved with it,” he said. “It’s familiar to me, and it feels like home. When I saw that Emerald was hiring, it made sense, so I reached out and I’m happy it’s worked out this way.”

While currently in a hybrid work-from-home arrangement, Randall will transition to primarily working out of Emerald’s Alpharetta office.

“From my perspective, I’m excited to get back into the office,” he added.
