Rehab Medical Expands Into Tennessee

CRT company announces it is moving into the Nashville market to serve mobility users as part of a broader expansion strategy.

National CRT provider Rehab Medical Inc. has opened a new office location in Nashville, Tenn. employing three mobility experts to manage the location.

The move marks the first time Rehab Medical has entered a new market without acquiring a company or establishing a pre-existing relationship in the area.

“Moving into the Nashville market without having an existing foundation is a testament to the solid sales structure we’ve put in place, our dedicated sales team who consistently go above and beyond, as well as the resolute confidence received from our leadership team that we can overcome the obstacles set in our path,” said Sales Keith Hawkins Jr. Vice President of Rehab Medical.

The move pivots off Rehab Medical’s 2020 growth, which included acquiring Wheelchairs Plus of San Antonio, Texas and Mobility Specialists of Winter Haven, Fla., as well as office expansions in Ohio, and Indiana. Rehab Medical now operates 25 locations nationwide dedicated to serving patients’ unique mobility needs.

“Our vision is to be the national leader of complex rehab technology, and to do that, we must increase the number of states where we have a presence,” Rehab Medical President Kevin Gearheart said. “Tennessee is a logical location for us because it connects two regions of the country where we have a very strong footprint: the Midwest and the Southeast.”
