Prochant Achieves HITRUST CSF Certification

The certification means that the company’s RCM system for HME providers and pharmacies meets a broad range of government regulations and industry standards for information security.

Prochant, which provides reimbursement solutions for HME businesses and pharmacies, announced its Revenue Cycle Services & Platform has achieved HITRUST CSF Certification.

HITRUST CSF Certified status demonstrates that Prochant’s Revenue Cycle Services & Platform has met key regulations and industry-defined information security requirements and is appropriately managing risk. By including federal and state regulations, standards and frameworks, and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST CSF helps organizations address these challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.

The platform, which is hosted at Microsoft Azure Datacenter East Region 2, USA; Chennai 01, India; Chennai 02, India; Trivandrum, India; and company headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., is the first RCM for HME and pharmacies to have earned the Certified status for information security by HITRUST, according to Prochant.

“HME and pharmacy reimbursement firms are under immense pressure to meet complex compliance, security, and privacy requirements such as NIST, ISO, and COBIT,” said Joey Graham, executive vice president and general manager at Prochant. “We are pleased to demonstrate to our clients the highest standards for protecting sensitive data and information by achieving HITRUST CSF Certification.”

“The HITRUST CSF Assurance Program is the most rigorous available, consisting of a multitude of quality assurance checks, both automated and manual,” said Bimal Sheth, HITRUST’s vice president of Assurance Services. “The fact that Prochant has achieved HITRUST CSF Certification attests to the high quality of their information risk management and compliance program.”
