Sunrise Medical Adds Larry Jackson as President

Jackson is best known for his work as president of Permobil U.S. and EVP of  Permobil group; spending 26 years with the company.

Assistive mobility solution manufacturer Sunrise Medical has named industry veteran Larry Jackson as its new President of Sunrise Medical North America, effective July 20.

Jackson will report to Thomas Babacan, president and CEO of Sunrise Medical Group. Jackson also joins the group’s global senior leadership team.

Jackson is best known for his work as president of Permobil U.S. and EVP of  Permobil group. Jackson spent 26 years with the company.

Pete Coburn, Sunrise’s president of Commercial Operations for North America and Latin America, will leave the company after a transition period.

“Larry brings significant strategic and operational expertise,” Babacan said. “We are very fortunate to have found the industry veteran like Larry, who has strong track records of developing and executing effective growth strategy, as well as respected leadership and success over the past two decades.

“I am also extremely grateful for Pete Coburn’s long time dedication to Sunrise Medical and his ongoing support in the transition and strategic projects, which continues to demonstrate his determination of putting Sunrise’s success as his first priority,” Babcan added. “I sincerely wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
