Georgia Awards GF Health Products for Expansion

Along with 35 other top exporters in Georgia, the HME product manufacturer received a 2019 GLOBE Award for its expansion into international markets.

Recognizing its contributions to strengthening Georgia’s economy through continued expansion into international markets, Atlanta-based GF Health Products received the 2019 GLOBE Award from the Georgia Department of Economic Development last month.

This was the fourth time that Graham-Field has received the award, which has honored Georgian exporters for the past six years. Department commissioner Pat Wilson and Gov. Brian Kemp honored the selected companies at an event in the state capitol on Dec. 6.

Collectively, the 36 winners of the 2019 GLOBES reached 90 new markets in 2018, according to business publication Global Atlanta. Other health and medical companies selected for the award included American 3B Scientific, Pain Care Labs and Tecme Corporation, among others.

“We are thrilled to once again celebrate Georgia companies who have entered new international markets,” Mary Waters, the department’s deputy commissioner for international trade, said in a news release. “Now in its sixth year, the GLOBE Awards not only shine a spotlight on Georgia exporters and the importance of trade to Georgia’s economy, but also on our International Trade team who work hard to connect Georgia companies with global opportunities to successfully grow their business.”
