3B Medical and MedGroup Partner Up

The deal makes 3B Medical’s Sleep and Respiratory Products Available to members of both MHA and The MED Group.

Sleep and respiratory equipment maker 3B Medical has entered an agreement with HME group purchasing organization The MED Group making 3B Medical’s sleep and respiratory products available to its members.

The products will be available to both MED Group members and members of MED Group parent Managed Health Care Associates Inc. (MHA) under special terms

“Our membership has always looked to MED and MHA to develop strategic relationships with manufacturers that provide high-quality, innovative products at a competitive price,” said Teresa Sparkman, MHA’s manager of Trade Relations.

The deal will help MED and MHA members deal with reimbursement challenges such as competitive bidding, which are providers find new ways of delivering high-quality patient care that simultaneously keeps clinical and economic considerations in mind, according to Jose Llana, M.D., 3 B Medical’s director of sales.

“We are excited to partner with MED and MHA to expand our reach to their national member base of sleep and respiratory care providers and extend to those members preferential pricing to support their growth initiatives,” Llana added.
